For any high school athlete there's nothing like winning a trip
to the big show, its a memorable life event which will never
be forgotten. Now imagine if that game is played at the world
famous Yankee Stadium. The PSAL season definitely went
out with a stylish bang but what else would you expect from
the big apple! Throngs of fans and supporters were on hand
at Yankee Stadium to witness the rise of a new champion. In
a year full of great pigskin and plenty of upsets en route to
the "Big Show" fans were not disappointed as Abraham
Lincoln and Fort Hamilton locked horns and stayed within
exciting arms reach of each. But The evening began with
fans excitedly entering the new stadium, many for the first
time. Friends, family and fellow classmates were truly
awestruck not only to see the amazing facility but also to be
a part of history.
You see this was the very first of what some folks hope will be
many Championship Football Games played in the house of
pinstripes.

Truth be told the action never
stopped from the beginning of
the game to the final whistle
was blown.
For the most part both teams
stayed within deadly striking
distance of one another until a
nerve racking fourth quarter
when Ft Hamilton established
and held the two point lead to
take the crown. Congrats to
both teams on a great season.
