artcle 2011 Young Guns Have What It Takes

Sometimes high school freshmen teams
take a little time to show some promise
but that certainly wasn't’ the case here
on either side of the field. These young
upstarts rolled onto the field with a sense
of entitlement like victory belonged to
them and then they proceeded to go out
and prove it.

We’d covered Teaneck in the preseason
but this was our first glimpse of
Mustangs.

The young highwaymen showed a good bit of gridiron swagger against Eastside back in August but Clifton brought
a pad-attitude to the field as well. Fans were treated to some pretty good early morning action. You can believe that
these two squads are gonna deliver exciting smash mouth football for years to come!
