After months of team
preparation most coaches
look forward to taking their
teams for a test drive or two
before the season starts .
You know, kick the tires,
race the engine a bit just to
see what's really under the
hood.
The recent meeting
between Paterson's
Eastside Ghosts and
Teaneck's Highwaymen
was a perfect example of
this. Earlier in the day the
respective freshmen
squads squared off and
both groups definitely
showed future promise.

In fact, while both freshmen crews showed moments of tenacity, the senior squads for both teams showed the trait in
greater quantity.This is a good sign because the Ghosts and the Highwaymen are talent rich so all they have to do is play
like the really believe and no fan will ever be disappointed !
